"My Journey from Hustling to Redemption."
A Music Industry Survival Story!

synopsis

My name is Red Bandit. I am successful businessman. I am a single Father to my lovely daughter Brandi. I was born & raised in East New York Brooklyn and Brandi & I now live in the beautiful Charlotte, NC.

I am known in the music industry as "Red Bandit". I released my first album "Cool Lover Boy" on Motown Records in 1990. My hit single and video is "Please Don't Cry featuring Ricky Bell of New Edition and BBD.

I am a creative and visual Entrepreneur. I have several companies in the areas of entertainment, retail, finance, television, consulting, real estate and philanthropic efforts.

My entertainment company is called "Nighthawks Entertainment Group, Inc. My music & book stores were On Da Lo and Brooklyn MVP. I later became a Mortgage Loan officer and opened JB Mortgage Consultants, Inc. I then became a real estate investor and started King James properties, LLC.

After being successful with my ventures, I missed hip hop. That's when I created TV show called "Lookin' For A Deal" (LFAD). This show gave new and unsigned artist an opportunity to get exposure on television.

In 2009 I wanted to give back so I launched "Worldwide Youth Education". This program offers middle and high school students mentoring, tutoring, after school studies, weekend and summer programs.

This leads me to the present. All of my above mentioned ventures started to decrease in revenue over the years. That is when things got bad. I did something outside of my character and committed a crime for which I plead guilty. I was sentenced to 15-months in Federal prison. I have been on house arrest since March 2011. On December 5th, 2011 I will surrender to serve my sentence at Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn, New York.

In my absence, my team will get together and build a business that will be
successful. I would like for you all to take a ride with us on this journey as I pay my debt to society and create a successful business with the help of my team.
